GUN RUN!!! – January 30, 2009
A quick note:
Just heard a news story on a local Houston radio station.
The greatest surge in gun sales in this country’s history began before Obama was elected, spiked up sharply before Obama’s appointment of Eric Holder as Attorney General took place and is continuing to rise as Eric Holder talks about gun bans, severe restrictions on the sale of guns and a plan to number every round of ammunition manufactured here.
American citizens cherish the Constitution which guarantees the right to bear arms. Period. No qualifications. No if’s, and’s or but’s. The right to bear arms. To protect us from criminals before the police can get there. To protect us from enemies that may attack our cities or towns before the army and national guard could respond, and more importantly, to protect ourselves from corrupt governments and dictators (tyrants) if such an unthinkable thing should ever happen. A scrutiny of world history shows that it’s never impossible anywhere in the world. Rome once had a democracy, but did suffer under tyrants at times.
Write your representatives and tell them to fight Holder’s gun bans and ammunition restrictions before it’s too late. If he is successful in killing one Constitutional Amendment, what’s to stop the Obama administration from killing another, like Freedom of Speech (the Fairness Doctrine, designed to silence talk radio in opposition to Obama and the Democrat Party.)

During the election campaign, Obama was livid when his opponents used his middle name, Hussein. He said they were trying to smear him. Anyone who suspected that he was sympathetic to Muslims was wrong, according to B. Hussein Obama. He was a Christian. (I’ll reserve judgment on that because “real” Christians don’t swallow the kind of hate, bigotry, racism, gossip and foul language in the pulpit, infecting generations to follow, as Obama affectionately accepted from his insane pastor, Jeremiah Wright.
Obama denied that his close friendships with Rashid and Mona Khalidi, former PLO employees under the father of modern terrorism, Yassar Arafat, had any influence on him to favor terrorists and their causes. He bristled when his years growing up in Indonesia was brought up and his school record showing his religion as Muslim was shown.
Obama told us that his long time good friend, Bill Ayers, a radical 1960’s home grown terrorist who bombed government buildings, was a nice, highly respected college professor who was doing good work. His opponents were wrong to assume that he was too friendly with terrorists and their agendas.
Now that B. Hussein is president, he’s doing exactly what his opponents feared and he began in his first week in office. For his first television interview, he chose Al-Arabiya news channel, an Arabic satellite TV network owned by Saudis and based in Dubai, and delivered a message to the Muslim world.
A few quotes:
“Americans are not your enemy.” He is speaking for himself. I am an enemy to those Muslims who hate me, my family, my fellow Americans, our values and lifestyles and my country. And there are plenty of them out there. B. Hussein is mistakenly tranferring his Muslim sympathy and justification of terrorists, to all Americans.
“My job to the Muslim world is to communicate that the Americans are not your enemy.” (I didn’t know he had a job to the Muslim world. He was elected to protect and defend America/Americans. Period. We pay his salary.)
B. Hussein called for a new partnership with the Muslim world “based on mutual respect and mutual interest.” Americans need NOT respect a culture of murder, death, torture and hatred. B. Hussein is wrong again.
B. Hussein is sending an envoy, former Sen. George Mitchell, to Egypt, Israel, the West Bank, Jordan, Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
“What I told him is start by listening, because all too often the United States starts by dictating”, B. Hussein told the interviewer.
B. Hussein thinks that Al-Qaida does not know how to deal with his new approach.
“They seem nervous. What that tells me is that their ideas are bankrupt.”
The sympathetic B. Hussein was called a derogatory name for black Americans who do the bidding of whites by Muslim Ayman al-Zawahri right after B. Hussein’s election. They are very nervous about B. Hussein’s new approach.
It’s important that everyone read this article and know what B. Hussein, our new president, is doing to undermine America’s safety and success on the war on terror. He is giving the Muslim radicals a victory. America is wrong. Muslims haven’t been treated right by the U.S. So any Muslim who wants to attact us, now feels justified. Our own president agrees.

More recently, in the Miami Herald, the actor attacked Weekly Standard Editor and New York Times Columnist, Bill Kristol:
“He’s an idiot — he wrote that we should be grateful to George Bush because he won the Iraq war. We! Won! The! War!” Matt Damon, Actor, extreme left Liberal
Bill Kristol agreed to debate the mouthy actor on Damon’s home turf (I guess to be charitable). If this debate should ever take place, it would be fun to watch. Since substance is always missing from Damon statements, I expect the debate to be Kristol quoting facts and Damon hurling insults and name-calling.
A debate between journalist Bill Kristol who is very informed and educated and the ill-informed un-educated actor Matt Damon should be on every television station in prime time. Come on, Damon. We would love to see this. Make it happen.

Obama’s war in Afghanistan killed 16 civilians and possibly 6 terrorists. Our new president is learning the responsiblities a leader carries on his shoulders. To get 6 terrorists, he killed 16 civilians. But he won’t have to worry about the press going after him and calling him a murderer like they did to Bush. He’s the golden boy and Bush was the nasty Republican.
Vice-President Joe “the Bumbling” Biden has predicted an increase in American deaths as Obama sends more troops into Afghanistan and I predict more American deaths in Iraq as Obama pulls soldiers out of Iraq too soon, leaving a vacuum for terrorists to fill and U.S. troops insufficiently covered.
Every mistake Pres. Obama makes in Iraq and Afghanistan will be blamed on Pres. Bush for the next four years. But the strange thing is that the liberals never blame the wars and the killing on the terrorists that attack all over the world.

“KABUL, Afghanistan – A fierce new dispute erupted yesterday over civilian deaths in Afghanistan, with village elders asserting that as many as 22 noncombatants were killed in an American-led raid and U.S. military officials insisting all 15 dead, including a woman, were Taliban fighters.”
Now Afghan President Karzai and the Afghans are upset with the U.S. Obama has tarred our popularity with his war, air-raiding innocents in the middle of the night. WHERE ARE THESE HEADLINES IN THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA?
More from the Los Angeles Times:
“Village elders provided a much different account to provincial officials, saying there were no Taliban in the area, which they described as a hamlet populated mainly by shepherds. Women and children were among the 22 civilian dead, they said, according to Hamididan Abdul Rahmzai, the head of the provincial council.
Two other officials, including a spokesman for the Laghman governor, later said 11 of the dead had been identified positively as civilians.”
Sound familiar? Obama is doing the same thing Bush was tarred and feathered for. Our new President is finding out what is necessary and how the terrorists will portray the actions of the U.S.
Here is what our military is saying about the raid, and I believe them.
“A statement by the U.S. military said the strike targeted a Taliban commander “known to traffic foreign fighters and weapons into the region.” As coalition troops approached his compound, the statement said, they came under fire from “multiple directions” by militants armed with AK-47 assault rifles and rocket-propelled grenades.
“They were running around with weapons, firing at our people,” said Army Col. Greg Julian, a spokesman for U.S. forces.
The U.S. military statement said searches of village compounds in the firefight’s aftermath uncovered weapons caches that included automatic rifles, rocket-propelled grenades, a hand grenade and ammunition. Many rural Afghans keep guns and ammunition in their homes, but Julian said that “RPGs would not be considered a family weapon.”
The woman who was killed was advancing on troops with a rocket-propelled grenade, the American military said.
The conflicting accounts of the raid were reminiscent of an August strike in the village of Azizabad in the western province of Herat, which caused an international outcry.”
This is what they do, no matter what. They blame the U.S. for some dastardly deed. They want us to lay down our arms, our defenses and take whatever they dish out, quietly.
If we ever do, that’s it for U.S. Terrorists will hit us from all sides with no fear.
Mr Obama should publically apologize to Mr. George W. Bush for his criticism and acknowledge that Mr. Bush was unfairly pilloried. And the news media should apologize on the front pages in bold large type for their shameful treatment of Pres. Bush and giving Pres. Obama a pass for the same thing.
And let’s not forget Israel, who is blamed for killing civilians in this same way.
DON’T BE DUPED, SCAMMED OR FLEECED, because this adminstration and it’s back-pocket news media are going to try.

Excerpt from an interview with James Lovelock, a British chemist and environmentalist best known for inventing the very controversial “Gaia Hypothesis” in the ’70’s, which influenced Al Gore to begin his global warming/climate change hysteria.
“Your work on atmospheric chlorofluorocarbons led eventually to a global CFC ban that saved us from ozone-layer depletion. Do we have time to do a similar thing with carbon emissions to save ourselves from climate change?
Not a hope in hell. Most of the “green” stuff is verging on a gigantic scam. Carbon trading, with its huge government subsidies, is just what finance and industry wanted. It’s not going to do a damn thing about climate change, but it’ll make a lot of money for a lot of people and postpone the moment of reckoning. I am not against renewable energy, but to spoil all the decent countryside in the UK with wind farms is driving me mad. It’s absolutely unnecessary, and it takes 2500 square kilometres to produce a gigawatt – that’s an awful lot of countryside.
What about work to sequester carbon dioxide?
That is a waste of time. It’s a crazy idea – and dangerous.”

Al Gore learned about it in college and waited until he was in the White House to do anything significant towards saving the planet, if he was really a believer in this hypothesis.

Now the founder of the GW hysteria says it’s all a scam and downright dangerous. Do you think Al Gore, who listened to this man and believed him before, will do so now? Don’t count on it. Gore stands to make too much money from the GW scams. His reputation is also on the line. (Lovelock does not say that climate change is a scam, only that the Gore, and now Obama, money grabs and facilitating laws are scams.) I bet they don’t publicize this the way they publicized his earlier statements that the earth was warming.
This will be shoved down our throats and forced on us, unless we scream so loudly that they can’t ignore us.

Maybe it’s time for Republicans to join the Democrat Party and water that sucker down! They haven’t been very effective in their own party, but could do a lot of good by diluting the effectiveness of the Democrat Party. Republicans could oppose everything Democrats try to do, fight to remove key planks in the Party, intimidate those who support Party planks, support their weakest candidate in the ring, block progress, bash their own and foster division among Democrats.
Some Republicans have become DINOsaurs in their own party and could better serve their country by making the sacrifice in order to bring back “long held” values that are now “long gone.” Then they would be DINOs of a different kind. “Democrats In Name Only.”
Republicans have suffered from this maneuver for many election cycles. It’s time to turn the tables.

I wasn’t the only person who noticed that Michelle Obama didn’t wear her wedding ring to the inaugural balls last night. The “historic” first couple’s first dance at the first inaugural ball on the first day of the first black president’s first term of America’s first historic election of the first black president……” Enough already with the “over the top” “first” and “historic” everything he does. (Remember how the crowd cheered and applauded during a stump speech when he simply blew his nose? Uggg. See for yourself at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cYTpRXbHB4&feature=related) Anyway, why didn’t the First Lady wear her wedding ring last night?
This was a night to be proud that she’s married to the first black president or any president of the U.S. Her dress was white. What kind of wedding ring would not look wonderful with a white evening gown? Maybe she felt it wasn’t extravagant or expensive enough for her very expensive gown.
Sarah Palin was verbally punished by the same fawning media over the cost of her campaign wardrobe. Will we hear them scold Michelle for the same? Nope. They’ve covered her wardrobe from inaugural day outfit to ball gowns, but only in glowing terms – not one word of dissatisfaction over the expense, which is in a different league all together from Palin’s “working” wardrobe. $1,500 for the outfit Michelle wore that day.
She wore a dress that looked exactly like a black widow spider when her husband won the election and made his “historic” speech. (If you don’t believe this, see for yourself at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psG8Lpmg7mk.)
Then she left her wedding ring at home when she went to the inauguaral balls. Hmmm. Is she trying to signal her strength apart from her husband? Does she have aspirations of attaining powerful positions in her own right? Were these submliminal messages? She, too is a lawyer, like Barack, Hillary and Bill Clinton. She must have at least thought about it.
She did wear her wedding ring during the daytime inauguration, but that may be because the newly elected president’s spouse holds the Bible he/she swears on. She had to be the wife/spouse for that event, so the ring was appropriately in place symbolizing her position holding that Bible.
Don’t be surprised if Michelle gradually, or perhaps quickly, moves into positions of power and influence, mostly power, in the future. And don’t hold your breath waiting for the news media to publically flog her over the cost of her wardrobe. That’s a sentiment reserved for Conservatives.

Wunderground stands for weather underground and can be visited at www.wunderground.com. It’s a “wunder-ful” place to find current weather conditions, average, normal and record temps of the past, and the forecasts. Just choose the city and state and click.
The forecast for Obama’s inauguration day includes a low of 16-17 degrees which will certainly chill the bones of the new president who has vowed to stop global warming with measures that will certainly “chill” our economy, not to mention, unlikely to make much difference in Earth’s temps.. He’s on record saying that he will institute such a strong cap and trade policy that the coal industry will be bankrupt.
Washington’s bone chilling 17 degree weather on inauguration day/night is below the average temp for Jan. 20 which is 24 degrees F. The high for the day is expected to be 31 degrees, a full ten degrees below normal.
With all the global warming propaganda, it’s surprising to note that the record high temp for Jan. 20 was 70 degrees F way back in 1951, when the country didn’t have nearly as much industry and not nearly as many vehicles on the roads emitting CO2 in the air. There weren’t as many light bulbs burning, fancy washers, dryers, dish washers, televisions or computers running back when the record high temp was set. On the flip side, Washington’s record low temp for Jan. 20 was -2 degrees F set as recently as 1984, after these things had increased.
But Obama, Al Gore, and all the GW train riders will continue to cripple our economy, deprive Americans of their own country’s resources and place a steep burden on the backs of the people, all the while ignoring the freezing cold they endured this year and last, even on Obama’s inauguration day. They will ignore the statistics that are screaming “global warming is not happening and is not a crisis.”

Ingrid Mattson is the president of the Islamic Society of North America, which has been linked to the terrorist organization, Hamas. While it is true that Mattson has been an honored guest at State Dept. dinners, met with senior Pentagon officials during the Bush administration and spoken at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, it was not until July, 2007 that court papers were filed linking her group to Hamas in a case against The Holy Land Foundation.
Prosecutors wrote in July that they have a “wide array of testimonial and documentary evidence expressly linking the group to Hamas and other radical groups.” What other radical groups?
Why then did Obama chose Mattson to speak at his inaugural prayer service Wednesday? When asked, his spokeswoman, Linda Douglass, would not discuss it. “She has a stellar reputation in the faith community,” Douglass said Saturday night.
Whose faith community? Certainly not among the Jewish faith community who has suffered death, destruction and terror at the hands of Hamas. Certainly not the Christian community who does not condone terrorism and murder. (that is not a “real” Christian community.) So whose faith community? Obama’s? After all, it is he who invited the woman to speak at his prayer service and it was his spokeswoman who said Mattson had a stellar reputation in the faith community.
Once again, Obama’s faith community and sentiments come into question. He should have chosen someone squeaky clean to speak and steered completely clear of anyone with a cloud of suspicion over their heads until they were proven innocent or guilty. I’m beginning to think Obama doesn’t know anyone clean, coming up in the famously corrupt political scene of Chicago, Illinois.
I have difficulty believing that Obama was a lone rose growing up in an onion patch.
Whether sought after or not, Obama did receive the endorsement of Hamas as a presidential candidate in April of 2008. They see him as someone they would rather have at the helm of Israel’s ally, the U.S. “We like Mr. Obama and we hope that he will win the elections,” said Ahmed Yousuf, top political adviser in Hamas, a militant Palestinian terrorist group in the Gaza Strip and firing rockets into Israel every day. What does Hamas see in Obama that they like? Sentiments favorable to them? Similar beliefs? A willingness to turn a blind eye to terrorists? His many affiliations with people known to support terrorism, i.e. Rashid and Mona Khalidi, Bill and Bernardine Dohrn, Louis Farrakhan, Black Panthers, Tony Rezko?
