Christopher Columbus, Part I – November 25, 2008

Posted on November 25, 2008. Filed under: Uncategorized |

October 12 was Columbus Day. It was ignored in the midst of Obama mania and the super-heated election campaigns. But with Thanksgiving in a couple of days, it’s vital to remember and reflect upon the founding of our country and what made it great. Before we remember the Pilgrims, the Puritans, the Quakers, the Presbyterians, the French Hugenots, etc., we must remember Christopher Columbus.

Who was he? Why did he work so hard for such a long time to sail across the ocean in search of a new trade route to India? Why didn’t he give up after a couple of years? What drove him? Why him and not someone else? Why at that particular time did he finally have success in getting funding and permission to sail? Was he destined to discover America and for what purpose?

Documents still in existence prove that Christofor Colombo was born in Genoa, Italy (or the Genoese Republic at the time). But his ancestry wasn’t Italian. Spanish scholar Salvador de Madariaga wrote in his biography, “Christopher Columbus, Being the Life of The Very Magnificent Lord Don Cristobal Colon, ” that his ancestors were Spanish Jews who were driven out of Catalonia in 1391 during anti-Jewish riots. Murderous attacks against the Jews of Seville on March 15 and again on June 4, 1391 killed 4,000 men, women and children and subsequently spread to other cities in Spain. In all, about 50,000 Jews lost their lives in the anti-Semitic massacres that swept through the country.

Some Jews made the life-saving choice to convert to Christianity and were accepted by the Catholic Church. They were called Conversos. The records of Genoa, where Columbus’ family settled, show the names as Domenico Colombo, his wife Susanna Fontanarossa, and their sons, Cristoforo, Bartholomeo, Giacomo (Diego) and a daughter, Bianchinetta. The records date back to Christopher’s grandfather, Giovanni, who was the first converso in his family. Christopher was the third generation in his family to be a Christian. From his diary, it is evident that he took it very seriously.

The family name in Spanish is Colon and Christopher was never called by the English translation. He would have been presented to Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand as Cristobal Colon. “Christopher” means “Christ-bearer” and “Colon” means, in Hebrew, “Jonah” and in English, “dove”. In the Bible, the dove is a symbol for the Holy Spirit and was the messenger sent out by Noah from the Ark to find evidence of dry land. Jonah was thrown over-board from a ship, swallowed by a large sea creature and deposited upon dry land, before deciding to obey God’s command to take His message to Nineveh.

Christopher was “divinely” named, as he was a “Christ-bearer” and a messenger of God like Jonah, and he was guided by God’s spirit like the Dove. He kept a diary of his first voyage which has been translated into English, “The Diario of Christopher Columbus’s First Voyage to America, 1492-1493.” In his daily entries, he speaks of God’s guidance, protection, inspirations and miracles throughout the voyage, which would easily have ended in disaster and perhaps even mutiny, if not for God’s divine intervention. He prayed to God for help and received answers to his prayers.

His appeal to Queen Isabella and King Ferninand for funding to sail across the ocean was not originally to find a trade route to India to gain spices and goods. His life-long desire was to liberate Jerusalem . He convinced the King and Queen that he would return from India with enough gold and gems to pay for a crusade to liberate the Holy City and save souls with the gospel of Christ. This was the strong desire of Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand was interested in the treasures, having depleted Spain’s coffers through several wars. After much deliberation, they agreed and provided all that Christopher required for his first voyage.

As we all know, he never made it to India, but landed on the outer islands of America. From his diary, we know that he was guided there by God, and can only deduce that God wanted Christopher, “Christ-bearer,” to land in America for a divine purpose. That will be the topic of part 2. What was God’s divine purpose for the discovery of America at that exact moment in history?

Obama Skips Church Every Sunday – November 24, 2008

Posted on November 24, 2008. Filed under: Uncategorized | is reporting today that the president elect, who claimed to be a devout Christian and who has always enjoyed STRONG support from prominent MUSLIMS AND ISLAMISTS, has been skipping church services ever since he won the election. He’s been going to the gym instead.

Past presidents have attended church and done their jogging or work-outs before or after church. Bush and Clinton had no problem making it to church and security was not a problem for them or the churches they attended. Obama’s excuse is that it would be an inconvenience to the church if he attended.

Shouldn’t Messiahs attend church?! Wouldn’t “real” devout Christians find a way to attend church, especially if past presidents have already worked out the logistics and the Secret Service is already used to handling this situation (and have for decades and decades).

Russian Peter the Great – November 24, 2008

Posted on November 23, 2008. Filed under: Uncategorized |

Earlier stories of Russian naval ships coming to Venezuela and then participating with them in joint naval exercises in the Caribbean waters reported the dates to be the first week in November. However, news stories of November 23 now report that they have not yet arrived and will be in Venezuela within hours.

Russia is sending their nuclear-powered cruiser, Peter the Great, a destroyer and some logistical vessels. Two warships will visit Venezuela’s Port La Guaira on Tuesday and joint exercises will begin Dec. 1. The Russian President should be there Wednesday, as part of his Latin American tour.

While I don’t like this at all, I was more worried when I thought these ships would be docked off the coast of Cuba during our elections. President Bush is still at the helm and paying close attention, I’m sure. What isn’t being reported is how long the Russian and Venezuelan ships will remain in the Caribbean. Will they leave while Bush is still the Commander-in-Chief or wait for Obama to take office?

We’d better keep our eye on this situation.

The Russians want to search for oil off the coast of Cuba in the deep waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Great. Everyone around the world can drill for oil in the Gulf of Mexico except the United States of America, whose shores are lapped by Gulf of Mexico waters every day! And the brilliant voters of the U.S. handed Congress and the Senate right back to the same loons who are guilty of preventing America from drilling, leaving those riches and power sources to Russia, China, Venezuela, etc. – communists, socialists, human-rights violaters, dictators. Good work voters!

ANOTHER COVER UP FOR OBAMA – November 23, 2008

Posted on November 23, 2008. Filed under: Uncategorized |

Hawaii court blocks release of Barack Obama’s birth certificate – For the full story, visit: by Andy Martin

“Another court, another cover-up,” says Martin. “What is wrong with our country when someone can be ‘elected’ without providing access to the original copy of their birth certificate? Something is drastically wrong with our democracy, and every American will pay the price. We will be issuing a fund raising appeal to continue this battle on appeal. The claim that a president’s birth certificate is secret is complete nonsense.”

Andy Martin hopes to appeal Honolulu court decision on Obama birth certificate, but has not yet received a copy of the ruling.

There’s no excuse for judges to deny Americans the right to know that the man elected president was eligible in the first place. Maybe he is. If so, it should be a simple matter and a fair request to have Obama produce his original birth certificate and prove it. I’ve had to prove my citizenship for things much less important. Haven’t you?

Khalid Mansour, Long-time Obama Supporter – November 22, 2008

Posted on November 22, 2008. Filed under: Uncategorized |

Everyone I know is tired of Barack Hussein Obama and he hasn’t even taken office yet. Obama fatigue makes us change the television channel when anything about him comes on. It makes us turn away from advertisements for Obama commemorative coins (For Pete’s Sake! We used to make those only for people long after they had passed away.). We’re sick of the Messiah syndrome. So I add this post with much trepidation, knowing that readers may just close this page without reading or watching what’s offered here. I HOPE YOU WON’T.

This isn’t about the election. It’s about what our country is in for over the next four years. It’s about who will be in and out of the White House and who will have influence. It’s mostly about not being fooled by smooth words and lyrical speeches.

We need to pay close attention and yell loudly when we don’t trust or like what we see. We must not be silent this time. Our freedoms are really at stake and unless we’re willing to fight for them, we’ll loose them. We start our battles by contacting every elected official and letting them know that we won’t stand for it (whatever “it” is at the time). Remember when Pres. Bush was in favor of signing a deal to allow Dubai to control America’s ports? We yelled collectively and the deal was cancelled. Remember when McCain was pushing an amnesty bill and we yelled collectively? That bill also failed.

There are going to be so many such actions and bills, that we will get fatigued fighting them, BUT WE MUST NOT QUIT OR GIVE UP. Remind yourself what it is your fighting for and how hard it would be to get it back if you lose it. Remind yourself of what kind of world your children and grandchildren will have to live in, if we lose this one.

Watch two videos back to back for a good lesson on what we will probably have to fight and fight hard.

The second video establishes that the speaker, Percy Sutton – Lawyer of Malcom X, helped Obama get into Harvard because Khalid Mansour wrote and asked him to.

Why do so many Muslims, Islamists, want to push Obama into the White House? Why does Obama have so many people of this movement in his close circle? Khalid Mansour has made it clear that he hates Christians and Jews, their religion and their Bible. It’s impossible that he would push, support and raise funds for a Christian to take the White House, even if the candidate was black. Does he know something about Barack Hussein Obama that we don’t know? I think he does. And HE thinks he does. Maybe he was present for this speech made by Barack Hussein Obama.

This is the scariest speech of all to me. It wasn’t the Muslim or Islam faith that brought freedom, liberty, the pursuit of happiness into our Constitutional guarantees. It was Christianity.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed BY THEIR CREATOR with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed – November 22, 2008

Posted on November 21, 2008. Filed under: Uncategorized |

America is known around the world for the freedom enjoyed by its citizens. But the academic world of so-called science doesn’t think there is any place for freedom of ideas and open discussion of more than one school of thought. These intellectual barbarians are convinced that anyone who believes in God is stupid and ignorant, and they are not ashamed to say so publically. In fact, they believe it is their duty to point it out and to rid the world of these backward ignoramuses.

I strongly urge you to watch the movie, “Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed,” by Ben Stein. In fact, I urge you to buy it to help him recoup the money he spent making it on all of our behalves. You don’t have to share Stein’s world view. He’s standing up for the freedom to have differing views and speak of them openly without reprecussions. He’s standing up for your freedom and mine.

It was a very courageous thing to do because the scientists who believe in evolution and Darwinianism aren’t satisfied just to believe it, they feel compelled to go on the offensive and rid the world of anyone who espouses a belief in Intelligent Design. They go on the attack and try to ruin ID proponents, never noticing that they are afforded the right to hold their views, while they won’t do the same for others.

Please buy this movie and help Ben Stein fight for our freedom. Please watch this movie and show it to your children, relatives, friends and neighbors. It’s a very good movie, interesting and well made. Most of all, it’s thought-provoking and eye-opening. It left me a little scared, well more than a little scared. I’m tired of losing my freedoms, one after the other. It’s time we put a stop to that and fight back.

Mama Sarah on Her Grandson – November 19, 2008

Posted on November 19, 2008. Filed under: Uncategorized |

Obama’s Kenyan grandmother has been interviewed several times and some have made their way to You Tube. Her story doesn’t always match that of the Obama campaign.

An interview with Obama’s grandmother in Kenya. Did she mean that Obama’s parents weren’t married and it was known in America? Listen closely to what she says about Obama near the end of the interview.

A Honolulu circuit judge heard vigorous arguments in the lawsuit filed by Obama author Andy Martin. Martin is seeking access to Barack Obama’s original, typewritten 1961 birth certificate. The judge reserved judgment.

“We had about a half-hour hearing,” Martin states. “Both the Attorney General and I vigorously presented our respective positions. The Court gave no indication of when or how the ruling could come or what the result will be.

“I have ordered a transcript of the hearing and as soon as it arrives we will post it on our blogs. People should be able to read the arguments in Court. Rather than characterize what was said, I will allow everyone to review the presentation for themselves.

The New Jersey case was denied by Justice David Souter, but his case is still pending as an emergency stay application. He’s resubmitting his request for an emergency stay of the national election results and electoral college meeting to Justice Clarence Thomas.

Unconfirmed reports of lawsuits filed in Utah, Wyoming, Florida, New York, North Carolina, Texas, California (we know about this one mentioned in yestereday’s post), and Virginia requesting court orders to verify Obama’s citizenship status.

An Obama campaign spokeswoman said, “All I can tell you is that it is just pure garbage.”

I, for one, am glad someone is doing something to insure that the Constitution is being upheld. If Obama is a legal natural born citizen and eligible, then we can all relax. If he isn’t, I don’t want the Constitution trampled and set a terrible precedent. The way Obama attained his political offices in Illinois was by challenging his opponents eligibility and the number of signatures on their applications. He successfully knocked them off the ballots and took the office. Wouldn’t it be ironic if the same thing happened to him now?

We’ll wait and see how it all turns out.

Obama’s Eligibility Challenged Again – November 18, 2008

Posted on November 18, 2008. Filed under: Uncategorized |

Reported by NBC News, Augusta, Georgia, Nov. 18, 2008

“SACRAMENTO, Calif.- A former opponent of Barack Obama’s has come back to haunt him over questions regarding Obama’s citizenship.

According to a press release from the American Independent Party, former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and other members of the party have filed suit in California Superior Court in Sacramento to stop the state from giving its electoral votes to President-elect Barack Obama until documentary evidence is provided to prove Obama is indeed a natural born citizen of the United States.”

This isn’t the first suit over Obama’s birth certificate and citizenship. Phillip Berg filed suit in Pennsylvania and the court sided with Mr. Berg. Not quite thirty days later, Oct. 24, 2008, the same court reversed itself and dismissed the lawsuit for lack of standing. Mr. Berg’s subsequent examination of the record showed no introduction of evidence, testimony or affidavits from either Obama or the DNC, to explain the court’s reversal of it’s own ruling. Mr. Berg appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court, but the court refused to take the case. (You should read about this case at…. It’s puzzling to say the least.)

Another case, brought in Honolulu, Hawaii by Andy Martin was set for a hearing today, Nov. 18, 2008, seeking a circuit judge to direct state officials to release Obama’s original, typewritten 1962 (1961?) birth certificate. This is the first one to be heard in open court. Mr. Martin is a graduate of the U. of Illinois College of Law (J.D.) and a former adjunct professor at the City U. of New York.

The question has always been, “Why doesn’t Obama simply produce the original birth certificate and put all of this suspicion to rest?” As others have said, it takes a few minutes and about $10 to request one. Yet, Obama has paid lawyers and spent a ton of money fighting these lawsuits rather than spend ten dollars to produce the original. Why?

It seems like common sense to satisfy American citizens/voters, since the Constitution requires a president to be a natural born citizen of the U.S. Instead, the Obama camp posted a Certificate of Live Birth, which is different from a Certification of Birth. There are those who contend that what was posted was a proven computer-generated “Photoshopped” forgery originally posted by a left-wing web blog, The Daily Kos, and one of its regular commentors who discussed the ease of faking one to bring an end to the controversy. They point to a small black dot that appears near the top of the form on the left side, which also appears on the known forgery on Daily Kos and Photobucket. This dot would not have been on a genuine document from the State of Hawaii. Both forms, Obama’s and the forgery, clearly show at the bottom left corner, “Rev. 11/01”. There is also evidence that the border design was Photoshopped and the font used to type the information did not exist in 1961 and is unique to computers, not found on typewriters. If this happens to be a COLB issued June, 2007, as a bleed-through might suggest, it shouldn’t have exactly the same birth time, 7:24 p.m., as the known forgery and a COLB is available to persons born in a foreign country under certain stipulations.

A Constitutional Crisis is looming if Obama proves not to be a natural born citizen. As a nation of law, the fight to disqualify Obama will begin in earnest as well as the fight from the other side to prevent it. All of this could have been avoided if Obama had simply produced the required document and satisfied those who are worried.

To read the issues brought forth in the Alan Keyes lawsuit visit:

There are several that need to be addressed by the legal document.

This article is an absolute MUST READ.
