Congress Has Taken No Action Against Rep. Etheridge!

No one is above the law.  That’s the glorious difference between monarchies and republics.  However, in the case of Rep. Bob Etheridge, who assaulted a young college student for asking if he supported  Barack Obama’s agenda, Congressman Etheridge has skated free as a bird.  In a reply from my Congressman, Rep. Pete Olson, regarding discipline or reprimand of Rep. Etheridge, he stated the following:

“To date, there has been no official action taken by Congress, including a formal reprimand against Congressman Etheridge concerning this incident. ”

He made no mention of any future hearings or actions on this matter.

So we have a ruling class who is immune from the law, can not be questioned about their positions on issues and can “rough up” citizens on the street.  Really?

I’m asking you to write your representatives and demand they take action against Etheridge.  This must be addressed and teach them all that they are answerable to voters and are not rulers.
