WE CAN WIN IN 2010! – November 07, 2008

The elections for members of the United States House of Representatives in 2010 will be held on November 2nd. The winners will serve in the 112th Congress. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_House_of_Representatives_elections,_2010

The Pennsylvania gubernatorial election of 2010 will be held on November 2, 2010, and will include the races for the Governor of Pennsylvania and Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania. The winning candidates will serve a four year term from 2011 to 2015.

The incumbent Governor, Ed Rendell (D), will be prohibited from seeking a third term under Pennsylvania’s existing term limit laws (state law limits Pennsylvania governors to two consecutive 4-year terms). Catherine Baker Knoll (D), the current Lieutenant Governor, will be 80 years old at the time of the election and it is considered unlikely that she will challenge for the state’s top post. This opens the possibility of wide open primaries in both major political parties. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pennsylvania_gubernatorial_election,_2010

With one third of the Senate seats and all 435 seats in the House of Representatives up for re-election in 2010, Republicans could shift the balance of power or at least move us very close, making it almost inevitable in 2012. But we can’t wait until right before the election to get busy. We must remember that ACORN is still out there doing what they do relentlessly, no matter how many court cases are pending against them.

Realizing that Republicans dropped the ball this election season, let’s pick it up and get in the game. Don’t sit on the sidelines expecting the politicians to play the game for us. You’ve seen the results of that and it’s not even fair to leave all the heavy lifting to them. Obama had ACORN, millions of volunteers, Hollywood and the main stream media working to get him elected. Republican candidates need every Republican citizen they can get, all of us, to put them in office and there are a number of things we can do.

To be continued…..
