What a Drag! – September 08, 2008

MSNBC political faces, Keith Olbermann, and Chris Matthews, are finally being removed as anchors of live political events, according to the Washington Post.com. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/09/08/AR20080908000…

It has finally occurred to someone at the network, that these guys may not be neutral, balanced and definitely not fair, in their coverage of the political candidates. (You think?) Either somone’s been asleep at the wheel at MS/NBC or someone hoped they’d get by with their extreme partisanship in covering political news. Tom Brokaw, a seasoned veteran in the news industry, may have been the voice of reason, finally pursuading the powers that be to move Olbermann and Matthews to a different venue. It’s a shame they waited until MS/NBC has no credibility in the news category. Their ratings are the lowest of all the networks.

Why should viewers seriously consider anything said by the likes of Matthews, who said,

“I have to tell you, you know, it’s part of reporting this case, this election, the feeling most people get when they hear Barack Obama’s speech. My, I felt this thrill going up my leg. I mean, I don’t have that too often.”

And has cried over an Obama speech and compared him to Jesus!

John McCain wasn’t my first choice, but on second thought, I’m ready for a “no nonsense” approach to the serious matters that affect my country and my life. We can only HOPE, as Obama puts it, that the Dreamer, of “Dreams of My Father”, loses and common sense prevails.

There is no more time to do nothing.
