The TimesOnline, London Edition, has an excellent eye-opening article about Brits who are fed up with the “green” movement, its taxes and added expense to everything. They are throwing it out with the garbage while politicians are quietly scrapping plans for new green taxes and punishment fines for those who dare to do something that greens don’t approve of. Their sagging economy is being blamed. People can’t afford green expenses anymore. A growing number of people believe the whole premise is a hoax. And they are right.
By the way, be sure to note the comment about Obama saying that his kids don’t get Christmas or birthday gifts. Huh? What’s that all about?
It’s official. The Obama’s don’t give their daughters Christmas or birthday gifts, but they DO spend hundreds of dollars on birthday slumber parties – because they want to teach some limits. Hundreds of dollars on birthday slumber parties – limits – hundreds of dollars….
Just a thought, but Christmas has become a Christian holiday. Obama says he’s a Christian. Why doesn’t he give his daughters Christmas gifts?
On another topic:
I wonder if the Democrats will clamor about the obscene profits of NBC? Will the main stream media paint NBC as an evil capitalist “Big Network”. Will Congress extract a windfall tax from NBC? I rather doubt it. They never bothered Microsoft, Bill Gates or “Big Tech” for making billions. Only “Big Oil”. And what about GE, owner of NBC? Will Congress want a windfall tax from GE? I doubt it.
And still another topic:
Michael Moore should count his blessings instead of biting the hand that feeds him. He told lies about the President of the United States all over television and made fictitious docufrauds that played around the country and no one bombed his car or house.
But the well known publisher, Random House, halted the planned debut of author Sherry Jones’ book, “The Jewel of Medina,” and the eight-city publicity tour due to fears of violence from offended Muslim terrorists. Learning a lesson from a Danish newspaper that published a cartoon about Mohammed, Random House wanted to avoid the same murderous backlash that killed 50 people in that incident.
Freedom of speech has been successfully squashed, even in America, where Muslims are concerned. And we still allow them to move here, build mosques here, train up generations of new followers here, oh yes, and exercise freedom of speech here.
There is no more time to do nothing.
