BLOODY FRIDAY, MARCH 13, 1988 – March 19, 2008

It’s been twenty years since Saddam Hussein massacred five thousand people, many women and children, in Halabja, Iraq, with mustard gas, a weapon of mass destruction. These were the Kurds, his own citizens. March 13, 1988 has been called Bloody Friday in Iraq ever since.

It’s been five years since “Shock and Awe” was unleashed on Iraq. President Bush has been attacked almost as much by his fellow Americans in the Democrat Party who are cheering their candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama when they pledge to immediately pull American troops out of Iraq. To set the record straight and try to stem the tide of revisionist history put forth in this election, I recommend watching this documentary video about the President and his position on Iraq. (It’s not too long.)

You will see the President riding a horse, wearing a big cowboy hat and smiling and waving as he passes by. He doesn’t care if a German calls him a cowboy. In America, that’s a compliment.

The President says the best plan is a new government in Iraq, a government that represents and respects its people – not repress them, and isn’t a threat to its neighbors. He thanks our military as being our means. He talks of American interests.

********LISTEN TO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYw1q2Ew7Bo&feature=related After excoriating the first President Bush for not removing Saddam Hussein, he then excoriates the present President Bush for taking Saddam out. MAKE UP YOUR MIND!

THERE’S ANOTHER ANNIVERSARY THIS WEEK. MARCH 13, 1988. BLOODY FRIDAY.

NOTE TO OBAMA AND HILLARY:

Obama, you would sit down and talk with Saddam to see if you could find common ground. What can an American president find in common with a mass murderer?

When they say there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, I say mustard gas is a weapon. Killing five thousand people is a mass murder and is destruction.
